Oh Tannenbuhbye

The Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree is officially gone for the year. For tourists and visitors that means a sad end to the holiday season. For people who work nearby, it's celebration time. I no longer have to leave 15-20 minutes early for lunch. I can walk freely on the sidewalks unimpeded by masses of Dr Ruth haircut old ladies right off the bus from Pennsylvania. I can eat anywhere and not worry about lines. I officially declare today to be Rock Center Independence Day.
